Her new music collection entitled "Girls Just Wanna Drink Beer" is being released this week on Lamon Records. The 4-song EP features a sampling of the fun and wonderful tunes and lyrics this talented artist has to offer. Though she's found her niche in acoustic-folk style songwriting, she's no novice when it comes to music. Playing in all sorts of bands since she was 12 years old, she earned a Master's degree in Music Education from Ohio State University. Then, after graduating from college, she spent the next 35 years teaching music in the Ohio Valley before landing a record deal with Lamon Records. "Rose is a unique talent," says Dave Moody, president of the 50 year old label Lamon Records. "Her songs are so real and honest... we felt she would find an audience for the music she's singing and writing." The 4-song EP features the title cut "Girls Just Wanna Drink Beer," a girls night out anthem that rings true in small towns and big cities all over the country. "My Man" a tongue and cheek tune that talks about older guys and their habits around the house. "Grass is Greener" is a bluegrass stomp that could be heard at any acoustic music festival on any given weekend. And "Prescription to Party" is a call to clear up a case of the blues with all the doctor orders. The EP is being released nationwide at all online music outlets including iTunes, Amazon and many others. The single "Girls Just Wanna Drink Beer" is being released to radio on a number of broadcast servers and the video by the same title is now on YouTube.
