MusicSubmit Artist - Kacey Musgraves Wins Grammy Award

A robotic dance music duo and an offbeat country newcomer saw big lifts for their album sales after they won major Grammy Awards and performed on the gala telecast.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, sales of "Random Access Memories" by the French electro-outfit Daft Punk, rose 300% to 30,000 units for the weekend that ended Sunday.
Daft Punk, which scored album of the year and record of the year ("Get Lucky"), leapfrogged to No. 10 on the sales chart after landing in 39th place for the previous week.
Kacey Musgraves' win for best country album drummed up interest in her release "Same Trailer Different Park," which leapt from 28th place to 12th. Sales for the album rose 177% to more than 27,000.
Bruno Mars, who won in the best pop vocal album for "Unorthodox Jukebox," was another beneficiary. "Jukebox" sold 15,000 copies, up 180% week-to-week, though he likely also benefited from his widely praised halftime show performance at Sunday's Super Bowl.
Fellow Grammy winner Lorde's "Pure Heroine" got a smaller sales bump, but still ranked third on the album chart, up from fifth the previous week.
Soul legend Stevie Wonder also made an appearance in the top 100 after performing on the Grammys with Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers. His 1976 classic "Songs in the Key of Life" hit No. 99.
Still, the Grammy lifts couldn't unseat the soundtrack to Disney's animated musical blockbuster "Frozen" from atop the chart. That album sold nearly 94,000 copies, barely budging from the previous week's tally.
