Biography:
Gayla James is a contemporary,jazz,urban and traditonal independent gospel recording artist. She was born and raised in Ft.Myers Fl. She begin singing at the young age of 3, in her youth choir. Gayla James has performed on Dr.Bobby Jones Gospel Show for new artist. The Word Network Channel which is a national known show. Gayla James has performed for many charitable events such as, The Edison Art Festival Of Light, Flossie Gardens Elderly Home, The United States Postal Stamp dedication, NFL Player Jevon Kearse Foundation,The National Bowling Association Junior Scholarship Program and many juvenile detention facilities for troubled youth. Gayla James has shared the stage with many icons of gospel music such as, Marvin Sapp, Dorothy Norwood, Lee Williams & The QCs, Rance Allen, Vickie Winans, Kirk Franklin and The Alabama Blind Boys. Gayla James loves singing for the Lord. Her goal is to change lives, hearts and minds through her music in a postive way.
