Jason Green brings his Arkansas roots and small town sensibility to country music

It’s refreshing when a true traditional country artist comes to the scene and offers a slice of nostalgic sound with thoughtful lyrics and a big voice. Jason Green brings his Arkansas roots and small town sensibility to country music.

Born and raised and still residing in Blytheville Arkansas, an hour north of Memphis, Jason grew up in a musical family. Learning to play guitar from his father, he was shy about his own talent until the age of 15 when he surprised everyone with his velvety voice and a gift for writing lyrics. He has been influenced greatly by the artistry of John Conlee, Keith Whitley and Johnny Cash and great writers like Tim Mensy, who crafted “She Dreams” for Mark Chestnutt and “Momma Knows” for Shenendoah. He has proved himself a hard worker after a decade in the steel mills but recently he left that behind. In addition to playing the music he loves, Jason has also discovered a passion for riding Harley’s. “After one ride I was hooked.” He says. Immediately he bought a bike and now he and his wife, of ten years, Jessica ride together every chance they get. He is a member of BMI, The Nashville Songwriters Association and The American Songwriters Guild and his new album “Hard Livin” shows off his gift for weaving a lyric with a melody that you will catch yourself singing over and over. It has been said that his “cool country vibe is reminiscent of the Dierks Bentleys and Brad Paisleys of the world” and that his ballads are full of “George Strait tender”. Jason Green is bound to be, in the tradition of Reba, Willie or Wynonna, a beloved redheaded country singer with a golden voice.

Lawrence John Project

Lawrence John from Belfast, Northern Ireland, is a deejay who took up songwriting and production in 2007. Initially, it was just an exercise to see if he could actually do it, but when he realized how much he enjoyed the experience and how easily the songs came to him, he decided to give it his best shot and produce his songs in Nashville. As a songwriter, Lawrence hit paydirt almost immediately when his song, Heavenly, became a sizable radio hit in Ireland, for Irish singing star John McNicholl, who enjoyed further success with another of Lawrence's songs, Crazy Over You. 

Since then Lawrence has written songs for a number of Irish Country singers, including, How We Got Country for Mike Denver, I Wish I Could Sing, for Robert Mizzell, We're On Our Way To Heaven, for The Benn Sisters, You're Hot, for Chris Blair, Home In Belfast, for Cliff Austin and I'll Never Cheat Again, for Trevor Loughrey.

Lawrence has also enjoyed chart success with his own recordings, including three European No.1's, I Wish I Could Sing, Sunny Day In Nashville and Country Music's In My Blood.

Cardella DeMilo - The girl from Watonga, OK

Cardella (Thorton) De Milo, born in Watonga, OK, in 1930, (Singer/Actress/Business woman),  began her dream and became a songstress and toured the U.S., Hawaii and Internationally.

Her singing has graced stages throughout her tours in Japan, Canada, Alaska and the Carribean. She leaves a treasure of achievements in the music and filmworld with appearances in several movies by prominent producers, Norman Lear, Eddie Murphy, Jamaa Fanaka and Ted Turner.

Television was a part of her territory which included her popular shows such as "Sanford & Son", her latest, "Pariots of Silicon Valley" where she portrayed Ella Fitzgerald. She has recorded, written and composed songs for several labels. She hosted and awarded many at the "Parsian Room" for 10 years plus, and served as a columnist for "The Scoop" and several newspapers in the Los Angeles area. Ms. De Milo's hit recording of "Gimme Whatcha Promised Me" for Sir Paul McCartney's MPL Communications company, was released by Claridge Records and D-Town Records in 1982, (available on youtube.com/scorpiontelevision).

Ms. De Milo was presented a Resolution by California Governor Jerry Brown for her 11 years of appearances in the penal institutions, in addition, she received a Congressional Award from Congresswoman Diane Watson as well such dignitaries as the late Honorable Mayor Tom Bradley, and Senator Bill Green.

In 2001, Cardella was recipient of "Mother Of The Year" award by The Rose Cancer Society.  Her presentations helped launch the careers of Barbara Morrison, Reynaldo Rey, the late Comedian, Robin Harris and others of note. Cardella has shared the spotlight with many greats, Lionel Hampton, Little Richard, B.B.King, Duke Ellington, Linda Hopkins, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Josephine Baker, Carmen McRae, Gloria Lynne, Etta James, Big Joe Turner, Don Ho, and Ella Fitzerald from the 50's throughout the 90's. Cardella De Milo has gone full circle.  A Trailblazer for many to follow, left hope and dreams to inspire, and warmth of her love to embrace, those who loved her.

Ke$sha - "Die Young" Single from Billboard Magazine

The new single sees the 25-year-old returning to the formula of her past hits: club-ready dance beats, a chorus that invites a sing-a-long, and plenty of sleaze. The lyric video released alongside the song splits its time between black-and-white shots from the Japanese underground and psychedelic text-laden imagery.
