Biography:


B. Taylor’s single, “Let’s Get this Party Started,” is the first official release from his forthcoming CD, One Life To Live . Co-managed by Pete Moore of Smokey Robinson & The Miracles fame ( multi-platinum recording artist, writer and producer of Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and others), Moore also is the executive producer on the project . This is a first for a classic Motown artist such as Moore to be that involved with a hip hop artist. In addition, Motown Legends Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson, and Stevie Wonder will surely support Moore in his collaboration with B. Taylor. Moore’s intention is to mix the Motown Sound with hip hop to incorporate a new sound for the genre which is desperately needed according to the feedback from major players in radio and in the rap community. The music on the album combines the Motown soulful sound with energetic beats of hip hop, appealing to all demographics, similar to the way of the Motown music tradition of the past.
B. Taylor has an amazing and unique combination of talents as a musician by virtue of the fact he plays four different instruments. He is a writer, producer, and performer who has a diverse background, which includes growing up as the son of a preacher. He was a college athlete, a sailor in the Navy, and a member of the All Navy Team-USA basketball squad. His diverse background, unique talents and extensive list of accomplishments provide him with the ability to cater to numerous fans with varying tastes in music across a vast number of genres including Hip Hop, R&B, Gospel, Rock, and Pop. As a result, he will appeal to a variety of demographics and age groups, vastly expanding his potential market demand.
