Scarlett Pomers -"Valentine" Single on playlist
MEMPHIS TN (IFS) -- It's crazy how this business works. You record a record and it lays around for a couple of years, then all of a sudden its raining fire. World renown actress and singer/songwriter Scarlett Pomers just hit that miracle mile in her career. The single "Valentine" which was recorded in late 2010-2011 and just was collecting dust, then bam -- out of the blue, the song starts to make little noise; then alot of noise.
As a singer, Scarlett Pomers founded the band SCARLETT, sometimes known as the "Scarlett Pomers Band," which has played at venues including the Knitting Factory, House of Blues, Club One-Seven, The Roxy, and the Whisky a Go Go. She is currently endorsed by Minarik Guitars and can be seen in their advertisements with the Inferno model.
The 2009 Amy Smart movie, Love N' Dancing, features Scarlett's song "Valentine," which she wrote as a poem at age 12 and then turned it into a song years later. She had also performed the song during an episode of America's Most Talented Kids.
Scarlett announced on her Facebook page and official website that she will be releasing Insane, her debut EP consisting of 5 tracks. The album was released on January 7, 2010 through her official website and CDbaby.com, and iTunes.
Scarlett has covered an AC/DC classic, It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) in a tribute album to the band titled Rock & Roll Train: A Millennium Tribute To AC/DC and released December 10, 2010 on iTunes.
“Butterfly Rocket” by Atira from Sydney
In March 2012 Atira travelled to Hollywood California to commence work on their next release. During this process the group work closely with music talent Zac Djanikian (Guitarist Amos Lee Band), producer Ian Cross (Usher, Janet Jackson & Lauren Hill) and mix engineer Matt Marrin (Chaka Khan) at Red Star Studios, Silverlake. The efforts saw them capture three new tracks which are planned for release mid/late 2012.
Over the past year Atira has turned a strong focus on capturing the US with the group gaining strong industry interest and fan support from their debut release “Butterfly Rocket”. With the new release and US performances on the horizon, 2012 is proving to be an exciting year for Atira. Since the arrival of debut album “Butterfly Rocket” released in October 2010 at the “Fly By Night” Fremantle, Australia, Atira have turned heads with their unique sound and have gained airplay in the US while building a solid fan base over 2011. With their songs “Flow” and the summer vibe of “Ayo” people have discovered this group and instantly warmed to their natural sound and honest approach in which makes this group unique.

This project also saw them work with sound engineer Paul McKercher, mix engineer Matt Marrin and musicians such as Phil Stack - Bass (Thirsty Merc) Rex Goh - Guitar (Savage Garden and Air Supply) Bill Risby - Rhodes, Piano and B3 (Tina Arena and Wendy Mathews) James Muller - Guitar (James Morrison)
It was late 2009 when the group was formed in Perth,Western Australia and with their own passion for good pop, soul and RnB the pair penned a string of tracks which evolved into a refreshing and sophisticated sound. Atira went on to develop this flavour by incorporating strong melody lines and catchy hooks. These early demos produced were already proving to show great signs for the pair and Atira were determined to take their music to the next level. This was to be the start of a great journey for the group and has seen them collaborate with a range of diverse and talented individuals along the way.

New Album Release: Jeff Gutman “Through the Night”
Announcing Announcing New Album Release: Jeff Gutman “Through the Night”
Notes from the Author: When I first started writing the album “Through the Night,” I had a series of music themes and melodies which had come to me in dreams. After I experienced the loss of my first child, I became very inspired to write words for these songs, finishing them at the pace of one a day.
I’ve noticed over the years that when songwriters write about traumatic events in their lives, they tend to focus on the negative elements, writing maudlin music that can be very cathartic for the songwriter, but very difficult music for the listener to enjoy. I set about writing songs that spoke honestly about my experiences, but rather than dwelling on the more negative aspects solely, I wanted to make an album where the songs when taken together would give a more complete picture showing the highs and lows of an emotional journey. The songs would be extremely varied stylistically, taking elements of power pop, acoustic rock and multi-sectional suites alongside with quiet confessional piano songs with full string arrangements.
I set about recording the songs by laying down the drums first, one piece at a time to a metronome. Then came the piano, playing live to the drum track. After that, I followed with bass, multiple acoustic and electric guitars, bouzouki, ukulele, banjo, xylophone, bodhran drums and percussion. Finally, I laid down the vocals live against these backing tracks. The lovely and talented Dori Turner Gutman laid down harmony vocals with me, singing duets on four of the songs. She also played all of the lush interlocking violin parts and solos throughout the album.
I set about to make an album that would be an honest reflection of my experience, one that would take the listener on an emotional journey featuring all of the elation, joy and deep despair that that entails. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy this album.

David Easthouse - My passion and heartbeat is life
I have been priviliged to have amazing sap to flow in the last 5 years during which time I have written 800 - 1000 songs and poems.
My passion and heartbeat is life and the many challenges we all face from the cradle to the grave.Accompanied to this is the mystery of what lies beyond the grave and the determination to find security in this before crossing that gulf.It is thus that I have reached the conviction that the Christian way and finding salvation in Jesus Christ is the only way to gain this security. In this light , I hope you will find these songs as a journey - of discovery and that after walking the journey , you will reach the same conclusions as I have about what is truth and reality. I trust you will enjoy what I have to offer and please refer to my other site www.soundclick.com/davideast where you can also hear my stuff : 600+ songs. Doug Briney, the up-and-coming country artist from Alaska
Doug Briney, the up-and-coming country artist from Alaska, has hired publicity firm, MTS Management to handle his debut CD release, "It's All Country." The CD is scheduled for release on March 9, 2012, with the first single being released to radio as a preview.
MTS Management, the firm behind Bryan Cole ("Pride And the Passion", "Love Doesn't Live Here") as well as metal guitarist, Xander Demos ("Guitarcadia) will be in charge of all aspects of the publicity and promotion of Mr. Briney's music, including all press requests for interviews and reviews, consulting and social media marketing. The debut single, "More Than Just a Farm" will be promoted initially to internet radio and internationally through Triplestrand promotions.
Doug Briney, the Northern Cowboy, is a two-time finalist in the KBear Country Idol competition in Anchorage, Alaska. His warm baritone voice and delivery have been compared to Toby Keith and Trace Adkins, among others. For more information, please visit www.dougbriney.com.
When you think of cowboys and country music, the cold climate and frozen tundra of Alaska might just be the last place on earth that you would think of. But, the northern-most state in America is right where up-and-coming country artist, Doug Briney’s career is heating up. With his highly anticipated debut CD, “It’s All Country” just released on March 9th, 2012, and a nomination for Most Promising New Artist at the 2012 ICMA awards, this God-fearing road warrior with the warm baritone voice and love for all things southern, might just be the original Northern Cowboy.
With the release of “It’s All Country,” Doug is showcasing his signature sound, which he cultivated from years of touring camps, churches and conferences across the US. “We even played in an airport once, to impress a pretty girl for one of the band members,” he says with a laugh. Blending traditional influences from country music’s past, like Lee Greenwood, Gatlin Brothers and Kenny Rogers, with modern contemporaries like Toby Keith and Trace Adkins, Doug has created an original, honest and authentic sound that is all his own. “It’s All Country” is a timeless collection of well-known country classics from recent memory (“Bleed Red”, “Voices”, ”Ol’ Red”) alongside heart-warming and inspiring new tracks, such as the title track and first single, “More Than Just a Farm.”
“More Than Just a Farm” was written by ICMA member, Pat Kelley and Ed Leavitt, and it tells the true-to-life story about growing up and learning life’s lessons, set against the backdrop of a working farm. “When I was selecting songs for this project, I must have listened to hundreds, looking for just the right ones. I wanted songs that, not only spoke to me on a personal level, but would also be very relatable to country music fans everywhere,” says Doug. With his first single, he has done just that. Sure to strike a chord with listeners around the world, the track is already receiving international airplay on more than 150 stations, and it is currently in the Top 10 of two independent music charts (#2 CMG Radio Network, #10 Independent Music Network.) A music video for the track has been released, and debuted at #1 on the OnlyLyrics.com Music Video chart, where it has remained for over a month. The video has also been added to the playlist of Country Music Channel (CMCTV,) a popular internet video channel.
While recording in the studio is a labor of love for Doug, performing live on stage is his true passion. He has been a finalist for two year running in the KBear Radio “Country Idol” in Anchorage, Alaska. Through his associations, he also met and performed live with Kelly Clarkson, before her big American Idol win. Doug has also been featured on MusicRow.com, New Music Weekly, Music News Nashville, Knight Rider Radio, The Jiggy Jaguar show and others. Next stop for Doug: Nashville. “I like to tell people that I’ve sung at the Grand Ol’ Opry. Of course, it was in the parking lot..but some day!” It’s this sunny disposition and witty sense of humor that is making country music fans sit up and take notice of this cowboy as one of the “good guys in white.”
Living up to that reputation can be a difficult task for any artist, but for Doug, it is second nature. Grateful for being able to live his dream of performing and recording music, he has gladly given back to his community in a big way. He is involved with charities like the Wounded Warrior Project and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, as well as being a pastor at the Cowboy Church of Anchorage. In fact, it’s his unwavering faith that keeps him grounded along his musical journey.
Still think a country singer can’t come from Alaska? Just ask this Northern Cowboy: “I have come to know and love the Cowboy Lifestyle through country music…And, it is who I am now, who I have been, and who I will always be.”

Description: | I'm a DIY recording personality I love doing them and getting them out to you! |
Leo Bowers: Leonard W. Bowers Jr.
Born: October 18, 1954
Domicile: Columbus OH. U.S.A.
Plugged into what or whom you may ask; well if you’re reading this right now then it’s fair to assume that for the moment I’m plugged into you!
I’ve been writing arranging and recording my own works since I got my hands on my first multi-track recorder in 1985. Before then I was working my butt off for recording time at a local recording studio here in Columbus Ohio called Rome Recording owned by Jack and Joyce Casey. Rome was fully outfitted and Jack was a great engineer with a really sweet personality. But when it came to paying 50.00 per hour for recording time back in 1978- though 85 it was a little out of my reach while paying bills and raising a family. So I cut grass, washed and waxed his car and did odd jobs around the studio to get some time in.
I saw my first multi-track studio recorder in 1983 which was a reel to reel 8 channel made by Tascam. My mind went wild with thoughts of how I could manage to save the money to get set up at home. In those days the cost for one was pretty close to $4,000.00 and I was only making slightly overminimum wage and hustling a truck on the side just to make ends meet. I had a dressed up Cadillac that I put allot of work into but could only get to the 2500.00 mark in offers so I decided to try to do it myself by flipping two reel to reel recorders back and forth to get an idea of what my arrangements would sound like if they were done on a machine like the Tascam 8 track recorder. Needless to say after the 2nd pass everything went south.
I eventually landed a job in construction that was paying really well and the old band had developed wanderlust for getting out for weekend gigs and needed a rhythm/vocalist to top it off so they came to me with the proposition. My younger brother was doing the bass and also happened to be my boss on the construction team. He was making allot more money than I was being he was the big bosses son-in-law. I still had recording on the brain while the band was caught up in doing the club scene and showing out so truthfully my heart wasn’t into performances nearly as much as it was just 4 years prior.
Then came the motorcycle craze and riding with the wind that easily got my attention and still one of my pastimes to date. Wouldn’t you know my uncle brought a club chapter to Columbus from Michigan and recruited my brother and I providing we bought motorcycles’. Thank goodness we didn’t need Harley’s to get our patches! Like a nut I lost focus on recording between the playing out and the motorcycle club and instead of thinking to opt for arecording package on credit I bought you guessed it “a motorcycle” just so I could wear the Phantom patch and be a motorcycle dude!
About 9 months later I kicked myself in the butt over and over because I should have stuck to establishing my own studio. I really didn’t make a good “outlaw motorcycle club member so I quit, turned in my patches and went back to the drawing board. I now had a motorcycle to pay for that was on a 48 month loan with about 39 months to go. It’s now 1985 and the band fell apart due to the old social quarks most bands fall into, and to top it off my brother was shot an killed by his wife on a humbug domestic dispute that January. All I had to help maintain my sanity at the time was family, booze and my instruments. I was never one for pills and downers so I self medicated my depression with alcohol to the point I didn’t have to feel while working and trying to manage an everyday existence. In April of 1985 I sold my old Cadillac for $2000.00 and went into Coyle music store where I had seen the Tascam that was now priced at about $3200.00. Needless to say it was a no go on my 2000.00! But the sales person held me up and brought out a 4 track recorder mixer combination made by Yamaha. A Yamaha MT 44-D with 6 channels on the mixer with auxiliary i/o’s and effect sends and returns with a switchable assign that let you bounce 3 tracks to 1 leaving 3 open. I bit it and was in ping-pong heaven for nearly four years and in 1990 I finally got a Tascam 388 8 track recorder/mixer combo and haven’t looked back since. I got into the outboard pre-amps, compressors and reverb units and by 1996 my attic was very well equipped with mastering from tape to tape and editing on a Tascam 3200 reel to reel mastering recorder then flipping to a Marantz CD recorder and pushing them out of drive thru’s, college music stores and just about anywhere that would take them. I finally made air play on a Columbus radio station that was giving home grown music a shot here and there only to get objections from a local spoiled guy/musician who objected to my getting airplay because I wasn’t out playing live. That didn’t stop anything I just kept going and looking for other outlets and ways to shop my music around.
There are parts of this story leading up to 1999 that I’ve not stated. After my brother was killed by his wife in 1985 I was doing music true enough, but I was also making allot of bad moves and making some drunken and drugged out mistakes from petty theft to domestics to finally the one that landed me in prison for felonious assault. I’m not trying to minimize my actions but it truly sounds worse than it was and thank God it wasn’t worse because at the rate I was going it sure could have been. Before I caught the case I moved into a house my father co-signed for because although I did allot of cash transactions for vehicles and musical equipment my credit was crap. I worked allot of security jobs and hustled my truck as usual for side money that actually exceeded my income from employment but nevertheless my drinking and drugging always took me out of the dependability line when it came to banks and finance companies willing to give me loans on my own merits.
The house was nice and housed the studio on the 3rd floor. The downside is that nearly everyone in the neighborhood was into cocaine and smoking crack with the exception of some older families that knew how to weather the storm. The drug and party scene was something that eventually worked its way to me and my young wife through my being involved in the club scene and living where I was living. My coping skills were definitely lacking when it came to the constant barrage of dope wielding neighbors and I had become a bird of the feather while raising children ranging from 17 down to the two youngest boys at 5 and 6 living in the home. Now that I look back at it I’m very fortunate to be doing as well as I am at my age with the past I have.
Up until my brother was killed in 1985 I had no record to speak of, but from that fateful day until March of 1999 I was a walking time bomb. The Bomb exploded in March of 1999 and I went away for a 6 year stent. They needed to make an example of me and rightfully so because they felt I got away with allot more and they weren’t too far off base. The hardest part of the whole ordeal for me was leaving my then 30 year old wife and two young sons of 9 and 10 at the mercy of this society and the social environment that took me over the edge. They really faired badly and my youngest son was emotionally scarred to the point revenge had become his waking thought daily. He’s now serving his last 3 years of a five year sentence. For what you may ask? Well if you guess felonious assault you got it right!
I really want to talk about the corks of our society and offer up remedies and suggestions, but in truth the only remedies for the ills that plague our inner city neighborhoods are stumbled upon by the grace of God and only to those who are looking and seeking in earnest. I found it and I’m certain my son will too mostly because I know he wants it in the real sense. Once he understands it’s a life long pursuit and looks forward to it in grateful anticipation harboring those aspects of character that makes subservience to the greater good a privilege to be proud of he’ll be on his way with a knowledge of the past that leads to making wise decisions a lifestyle.
On the social side of things I’ve been a Marine grunt, a die hard certified security officer, a construction worker with perks, a cab driver, a model prisoner etc…etc…but the most important of these is my time as a dad and secondly this music in me that has never let me down. In the six years I was away I had my guitar and was active in the music association doing shows and teaching what I had to offer in the musical field to those who wanted it and there were quite a few! I took college courses and gained an associates degree on top of my former training and tutored literacy for students needing their G.E.D.
I did come back in 2005 and find my family strewn and disbanded. I made it my mission to put them back together again and I did just that. It wasn’t easy and still isn’t because there are issues to deal with requiring much patience and insight but it’s getting better everyday. I have my youngest grandchildren living right next to me two beautiful little girls with my son and his wife and I’m in contact with my youngest son as much as circumstances permit but that’s getting better too!
And the subject of this writing “my music” well I worked the equipment back up to par and I lost some time along with everything else, but I’m getting it back and that’s getting better too. One thing holds true that most might think is a loss is that I don’t have allot of friends, but that’s O.K. because the friends I do have I know are true and even though there’s only a few they’re the best. They are constants in the positive outlook department and shining examples in a potentially dark existence. They’re beacons leading the way to the light. And although I’ve never been a follower I’d follow them without a second thought. In fact I do! There are many out there with characters of equal goodwill and maybe even better and these special people are my inspiration they inspire the music in me.
There’s allot more to music than flash, playing an instrument and wishful thinking. Like anything else worthwhile in this world if you want it and you want it right you have to earn it. I don’t care much for trying to get allot of listeners by running after numbers and I’ll tell you why. The average music enthusiast listens to what they think they want to hear based on the popularity of an image already carved into their minds by psychological conditioning agents, subliminal imagery, and the power of suggestion called advertising. What is the difference in nutrition of Burger King vs’ your burger? In truth you get far less. The only practical thing about fast food is it’s fast so we do it sometimes because we don’t want to do food creativity on a Saturday evening or whatever the case may be. Music is the same way. You see the commercial; it looks good and suggests an alternative to your own true thoughts and belief system. All of this goes to try to explain why I don’t chase the numbers and when it comes to the music I put to you it’s not fast food and I don’t want it to be served up as such ever. I like doing me for you just the way I do. I like moving at my own speed and in my own time. You have to admit it sounds more comfortable and that’s because it is! Not just for me, but hopefully for you as well.
Cheers as always!
Leo

Enjuillet began as an acoustic side project featuring Ela Kitapci and Taylor Morrow
Enjuillet began as an acoustic side project featuring Ela Kitapci and Taylor Morrow. As their respective groups began to dissipate the songs grew into something far more legitimate than an underwritten side sound. The evolution continued and grew into full band potential and so the group began work on its first collection of recordings: Kingdom by the Sea EP. Contrasting their past musical ventures, Kitapci and Morrow have tailored the Enjuillet songs to fit into a wide variety of musical arrangements. Passages of melodic texture coupled with dual lead vocals, flowing musical dynamics and sections of vigorous sonic expression characterize the personality of the band and the members themselves. |
Press Release: | Enjuillet was originally formed by Ela Kitapci and Taylor Morrow as a side project when the two musicians began writing together while fronting their own respective bands. Shortly after, the two bands dissolved and Enjuillet became the sole musical outlet for the two young musicians. Enjuillet’s first project was the “Kingdom by the Sea EP” which was released in the summer of 2011. The six track EP was recorded at Loyola Marymount University as a thesis project for friend of the band Danny Parra, a recording arts major at the university. The goal then, as it is now, was to create moving, meaningful and entertaining music that would astound and delight audiences of many different musical backgrounds. This EP captures the essence of these two individuals and Enjuillet as a whole. Two particular songs are being presented for honorable mention: “To Revelry” and “Kingdom by the Sea”. “To Revelry” illustrates the desire to establish a sense of happiness in oneself and in the lives of those who are loved most dearly. The lyrics present this attempt through clips of reflective narrative between two characters. The song begins as a soft ballad featuring colorful harmonies held together by strong melodic rhythm. Each verse slowly increases in intensity, adding creative instrumental sounds that yield intricate texture and layering. Its dramatic climax is exceptional, building upon its woven foundation. In its codependent structure, one is reminded of a motion picture. “Kingdom by the Sea” is inspired from a line written by poet and short story writer Edgar Allen Poe in his poem Annabel Lee. The song follows a suggested dialogue between Poe and Annabel Lee; what they might have said to each other during the final moments of her life. This song has a most glorious melody to it with the two characters playing thought for words, joining the force of love through melodic wonder. It is unique in every sense of the word. These songs, beautifully arranged and choreographed, allow audiences to envelop themselves in the storylines that are so eloquently presented. Enjuillet has performed in and around the Los Angeles area including but not limited to The Whisky, Roxy and Viper Room along with many smaller venues. Enjuillet are an amazing duo. These creative minds fused with exceptional talent bring form sonic beauty in its most unique form. “Kingdom by the Sea EP” is avaible in both digital and physical formats and can be purchased by logging onto (search: Enjuillet): www.reverbnation.com www.facebook.com/enjuillet www.promofm.com Enjuillet is currently working with A & R Select based in West Hollywood, Ca. for licensing, publishing, a record deal and/or placement opportunities. Hair spiked and leather-clad, Rock Hart may carve up the short-haired punk rock
Norway's HART was formed in Oslo in early 2012 and is the new band for singer Rock Hart who is joined by lead guitarists Julian Angel and Steen Larsen. Musically, the band implements influences such as KISS, Twisted Sister, and Judas Priest, along with a visual technique that is comparable to Billy Idol.
Rock gained notoriety as the frontman of Norway's glam sensation SEKS, with a well-received album entitled "Harder Than You" released in 2011. The album received a feature in AOR magazine's sampler CD in Fall 2011 and spawned the single and music video for the fan favorite "Charlemagne." But now with a new band, a new image was needed.
Hair spiked and leather-clad, Rock Hart may carve up the short-haired punk rock posture of a certain blonde 80s bad boy, but that's not all. Being stuck in the 80s himself, Rock knew exactly who he needed as his guitar-slinging partner in crime...Beautiful Beast's Julian Angel, followed afterward by ex-SEKS guitarist Steen Larsen.
Having worked together with SEKS' previous release, Hart and Angel have formed a comradery like the great Billy Idol and Steve Stevens duo, and not only in looks. All over HART's debut album "The Conqueror", you can hear how well the two work together, with a feel that takes the listener back to the early 80s with loud guitars, wailing vocals, and huge choruses.
On June 6th, HART released their first single, "Untamed Heart of Rock N' Roll" with a video that gives a nod to the glory days of hard rock. HART's "The Conqueror" will be released digitally on September 4th, 2012, followed by a limited edition physical version.

The Dave Edwards Band
CURRENT PROJECT:
The Dave Edwards Band
PICKIN' SINGLES
An EP of 6 new songs with the intimate sounds of Acoustic guitars, Stand Up Bass, Accordion & light drums that captures a house party feel starting on the front porch. Guest include Jimmy Bones (from Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band) on keyboards, Mark Iannice (Jill Jack) on accordion and Larry LeBeck on Pedal Steel. Bob Monteleone produced and plays guitar through out.
Who is Dave Edwards and why is that name so familiar?
• Founding member, lead singer/songwriter for THE LOOK
• THE LOOK recorded 4 albums - Dominating radio & video in the 80’s with “We’re Gonna Rock”, “You Can’t Sit Down”, “Baby, Do You Want Me To?”, “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood”, “Memories”, “Second Chance”, “Who Knows Me” and more.
• Toured with John Mellencamp, Huey Lewis & The News, The Rockets, Cheap Trick, The Kinks, J Geils Band and many others.
• Also fronted Tantrum & RH Factor during significant phases of Motor City Music History.
• Mr. Edwards – fronting RH Factor performed for the Pope at Pontiac Stadium in September of 1987 Spotty record distribution, confusing management and recording deals killed the momentum and development of The Look’s career(come on! They sign with Fantasy Records in the early 90’s and the label refused to make videos).
Alas the band members went their separate ways.
Dave Edwards retained the name The Look and began performing with rotating sidemen performing the hits of the LOOK and peppered them with classic covers from The Rockets, Bob Seger & The Romantics (“bands you couldn’t see up close too often”) – as well as classics of Rod Stewart, Van Morrison, Bryan Adams, The Rolling Stones and lots of Motown. In 2004, Dave Edwards began a remarkable and noteworthy solo career recording TAKE ANOTHER LOOK with not only a musical contribution from famed Detroit musicians Johnny Bee Badanjek & Jim McCarty, but also Bee, a noted artist, painted and contributed the artwork for the cover. Dave’s unique arrangement of Tracy Chapman’s “GIVE ME ONE REASON” remains Dave’s biggest selling track on iTunes to this day!
In 2007 – Dave released an EP entitled SECOND LOOK Volume 1 – a series he hopes to revisit from time to time. The first volume featured 3 newly recorded tracks – including a duet on The Boxtops’ Soul Deep with the great Shaun Murphy. Second Look Volume 1 closes with a live version of Paul Carracks “I Need You” recorded at Hart Plaza.
In May of 2009, Dave released LONE SURVIVOR, his second full length CD. Lone Survivor is a hodge podge of classic rock, blues & country that fits together like a cold beer on a Friday night. A running them throughout the CD is survival – from the opening How Long? (with a Who’s Next feel), stopping off at a bluesy take on Carole King’s “It’s Too Late”, a whisky soaked version of Leonard Cohen’s “Aint No Cure For Love” and closes with the fireworks of “Can’t Keep A Good Man Down” that finds the lone survivor back on his horse and getting out of town….
Lone Survivor featured many special guests including Johnny “Bee” Badanjek, Jimmie “Bones” Trombly, Black Market alummi Bob Monteleone (who also produced the CD) & drummer Mitch Purdy (on Mandolin!) as well as Dave’s recent core band members. The original song “It’s Written All Over Your Face” was recorded at Harmonie Park Studios and mixed by Los Angeles engineer Tony Ugval who was also Grammy nominated in 2010 for Album of The Year with Lady GaGa. “It’s Written All Over Your Face” received 2 Detroit Music Awards nominations – including Outstanding Country performance.

White Fort - Artyom and Yuriy come from Irkutsk, Siberia
Artyom and Yuriy come from Irkutsk, Siberia. Growing up in the Soviet Union, they began studying classical music in grade school, and spent many long, dark winters with nothing to do but practice, practice, practice. The Iron Curtain couldn't hold out rock and roll, though, and soon Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles were sharing a gallon of vodka with Mozart and Tchaikovsky.
The result? White Fort--a unique hybrid of rock, folk, and classical music, propelled by a Russian ethnic pulse and rocket fuel.
The boys have come a long way from the steppes, with a dozen albums and numerous international awards over their 25-year career. They've toured worldwide, from the trance clubs of Ibiza to NYC's Lincoln Center. They took First Place in the Instrumental Music Category in Nashville's 2011 International Songwriting Competition. According to MTV producer Maty Fernandez, "These two guys do what it takes Dave Matthews five guys to do."
White Fort returns to the USA this fall for their first tour of the West Coast.

John Dubiel and his combat fusion jazz band
John Dubiel
John Dubiel and his combat fusion jazz bands first album is a collection of jazz fusion and r&b arrangements. This feel good project takes us on a musical journey with instrumental and vocal ballads that are highlighted by a sizzling saxophone and a pure relaxing piano and accented by a smooth rhythm guitar.
Producer of the Combat Fusion Jazz Band, John Dubiel, was born in Chicago on April 18, 1945. Throughout his life he has been a producer, song writer, keyboard player with a passion for music. John is a Viet Nam war veteran and purple heart recipient.
His other passion is the veterans and with this new band, the Combat Fusion Jazz Band, he wants to help all our men and women veterans who are suffering from PTSD. Part of the profits from the Combat Fusion Jazz Band will be going to help these brave men and women as they come back home.
John has come alive with the Combat Fusion Jazz Band’s first album “Gotta Say Goodbye”, a smooth jazz, fusion, R & B arrangement. A soulful mix of musical genres. John has been in the music industry for over thirty years.
First producing for Ovation Records with two Chicago singers, Elaine and Ellen, with great success and then in the early 90’s he opened The Jazz Buffet night club in Chicago, presenting top entertainment - McCoy Tyner, Sheila E, Warren Hill, Jimmy Smith just to name a few.
He also produced a play, “The Pack is Back” a fictional portrait of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Dean Martin.
The production was very successful and eventually moved from the Jazz Buffet to Piper’s Alley in Chicago.
But when all is said and done John came back to what he loves the most – the keyboard and producing.
John is dedicated to making great music with the Combat Fusion Jazz Band and helping our brave men and women serving our nation.
The "Under Fire" finale is a dynamic instrumental composition into the world of musical expression. Amazing musicians transfer energy, feeling, style and flair with a soulful mix of musical genres. Music has always been a soothing balm to the soul. Our courageous veterans deserve that and more. "Support the Troops."
