Hotrax Record Productions
Hotrax Record Productions
We started in Detroit and our roots are from the Aretha Franklin Machine and her Smash Hitting team and soon came to the West Coast due to a Record release out there and shortly found ourselves at Motown.
The Hotrax Team [RG Ingersoll, Lee Rogers Craton, Kenneth Howard Smith] was established in the late 70's and was signed to an exclusive Producer/Writer/Artist deal and sponsored by Motown's Gwen Gordy, a Music Icon.
Her insight, Expertise and inspiration about Hotrax's efforts to perfect a cross-over blend of songs, really was how it all started. However, even Gwen Gordy the Co-Founder of the Motown Corp. and the sound of young America, found herself being held back by the corporate heads and restricted her creative moves at every corner.
She believed in us, and began secretly to keep Hotrax going with its creative cross-over sound. We no longer were to record in the Corporation studios in order to keep her plans secret. Hotrax was now cutting tracks in studios like Paramount, 54 East Recorders, and other unknown Studios, with a bigger budget.
Not only the Songs and the "Hot Tracks" That we were laying down, Got peoples attention, but we also knew the art of finding great talent and recruiting those unknown artist's to do the songs.
Our next Album will be out soon, we are in the final stage and there will be more songs and lots of various Artists too. Our concept will reflect our blend of today's sound and hopefully open new doors in the Music Industry.
We hope you will enjoy this music and just for a moment let your body and soul run free while you listen, it will take you somewhere you would like to be.
THANKS for your support

Kacey Musgraves Makes History at the Apollo Theater: Live Review
KACEY MUSGRAVES
Oct. 24 / The Apollo Theater
Kacey Musgraves made an impressive declaration early on last night (Oct. 24) during the New York stop of her Rhinestone Revue tour. “Apparently I'm the only country act to headline the Apollo,” she noted. “Sold it out, too,” she added proudly. This sort of accomplishment is not out of character for Musgraves, who has managed to become one of country music’s most discussed artists even though she lacks a major hit.
Attention came thick and fast when Musgraves’ Same Trailer, Different Parkdebuted in 2013. A pair of her songs embraced political positions not usually associated with country music, attracting praise from listeners who otherwise ignore the genre. To the extent that her lyrics were lefty-friendly, her aesthetic positions were conservative: Musgraves is loyal to the country sound of 50 years ago.
Her politics helped build buzz, but they were mostly a feint: what stayed constant between Same Trailer and Pageant Material, out this year, was her songwriting. Compact melodies are a Nashville hallmark -- no city offers a better argument for the continued relevance of guitar-based music -- and Musgraves imbues hers with a heavy dose of nostalgia, pulling from a southern past verging on myth (or caricature). At a time when country music is rapidly modernizing, she is an outlier.
But her brand of rebellion comes sugar-coated: playing at the Apollo, Musgraves’ music was unfailingly pleasant and relentlessly innocuous. She likes golden bass, light percussion, pretty and undistorted guitars; jaunty whistles appeared in a few songs, along with joyous summer camp-appropriate interjections of “Hey!” Lyrically, her songs are piles of truisms and tautologies: “family is family,” “it is what it is,” “follow your arrow,” “damned if you do, damned if you don't,” “Mary had a little lamb,” “love hard, live fast.” These phrases -- which often appear in stories about the singer’s love/hate relationship with small towns -- give the Musgraves faithful something to latch onto. During her performance, every song incited karaoke, every silence was quickly filled with whoops and hollers.
In this sea of country lullabies, a few songs stood out. Musgraves played “Mama’s Broken Heart,” which she co-wrote for Miranda Lambert; this hit single has a sharp swing and a biting drive often absent on Musgraves’ own albums. "Late to the Party," on the other hand, was transcendently sweet. The hook incorporates a thrilling jump up the scale like the one in Keith Urban’s "Standing Right In Front of You." It's effective and romantic; couples in the crowd responded by slow-dancing.
Musgraves started dancing herself when she played "Blowing Smoke," which remains one of her finest tracks: shouty, self-effacing and celebratory all at once. She broke out the moves again during a hard charging cover of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made for Walking," which sounded shockingly punky next to the rest of the set. The track originally appeared in 1966, which might be Musgraves’ ideal era. Even as she makes history, she pays homage to the past.

Serenity…The Princess of Southern R&B and Soul
Serenity…The Princess of Southern R&B and Soul
Passionate. Powerful. Silky. That is the best way to describe the vocals of 15-year-old Serenity. With a gift for playing the keys and writing her own songs, Serenity is able to express her thoughts, emotions and experiences through the art of music. Put Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Chrisette Michelle in a blender, and you will have a concoction named Serenity. As a songbird born in Jackson, MS, she has been crowned the Princess of Southern R&B and Soul.
Serenity didn't just wake up and decided to be a superstar. She was destined for it. At birth, she was deemed a miracle child, being born at 4lbs 2oz. After fighting against collapsing lungs for two weeks, her health began to improve and her pastor prophesied that Serenity would be a singer. He was right. Serenity's mom discovered that she could sing when she heard her singing the "Barney Song" in the backseat at 18 months.
Serenity's journey to stardom started at age 7 when she joined her church's choir. She showcased at several talent shows in Mississippi and Memphis, TN. She even had the opportunity to perform at the Apollo. The producers loved her and confirmed that she is destined to be a star. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled and never aired, but that didn't stop Serenity from shining bright. She sharpened her performance skills by enrolling in dance, vocal lessons and community theater. She took what she learned and landed the lead role as Dorothy in the musical play "The Wiz". Her love for theater grew even stronger after performing off Broadway with A Class Act Studios for kids and teens in New York City. She even has her own record label, SOAR Music Group.
In 2013, Serenity's journey took an interesting turn for the best. She had gone to a Mindless Behavior concert and was introduced to RCA recording artist, Jacob Latimore. When he hit the stage, she was in awe of his performance and ability to dance and sing at the same time. After the concert, fate intervened and Serenity bumped into Jacob Latimore at the gas station. She had a chance to take a picture and ask him advice on getting into the entertainment business. He was gracious to respond and give sound advice. It was then that she contracted "Jacob Fever". She took the inspiration from her celebrity crush and co-wrote a song with a producer in Memphis about him. "The music video was hit so many times on YouTube; Serenity started looking like a star herself," said Mearl Purvis of Fox13 News in Memphis,TN. The song landed her an opportunity to open up for Jacob Latimore at a concert in Memphis.
What is Serenity up to? Well her journey has just gotten better because she has just released the new single "Jacob" the Remix ft. Jacob Latimore himself! Dreams do come true!!! The FREE download is available at https://m.soundcloud.com/serenity-holloway/jacob-the-remix. For the latest info on Serenity, connect with her on the following social sites:

Do you remember your teen celebrity crush? The Princess of Southern R&B and Soul, Serenity, had the chance to not only meet her celebrity crush, but to also record a song with him! Serenity says “It is not every day that someone gets to record with their favorite artist. It has been incredible!"
The original version, in which went viral, on YouTube was written for Jacob after he snagged her heart when she saw him open for Mindless Behavior at a concert. After hearing her song, Jacob joined her to collaborate on the remix it was released February 14th, 2015 on sound cloud. For more information on Serenity please visit her website at

LISA COPPOLA
LISA COPPOLA is a dedicated, ambitious and gifted singer/songwriter. A life long Jersey Girl with a four and a half octave vocal range, Lisa has a passion for music and has developed a style that blurs the lines between love-gone-bad country and heartfelt, confrontational rock.
Performing since she was 16, Lisa began her professional career immediately after high school with the The Party Dolls, a very popular, long running New Jersey party band fronted by three women. At the same time, she set out to be a solo artist but soon formed the band Broad with John Zonars, musical coordinator for Saturday Night Live. Their album BROAD: HUMAN CONFLICT (ArtBeat Records distributed by BMG/Aris) enjoyed a string of successes in Europe. Broad did a media/concert tour of Germany in support the record and were received with open arms by extremely enthusiastic German audiences. Back home, BROAD became a hot New York live act, playing regularly at Manhattan’s Brownies, A/k/a, Spiral, The Bitter End as well as appearing at the World Cup Tournament at Giants Stadium.
A Rose By Any Other Name, Lisa’s debut solo album came in late 2001. Released on indie label Any Other Name Records, Lisa co-wrote six of the tracks featured on the album.
2008 saw the release of a Contemporary Country Rock EP, Wisdom from the Pain. Lisa co-wrote the title track with Mark Conklin and former Spin Doctor Anthony Krizan. Other tracks were co-written by John Waite, who featured the song "When You Were Mine" on the front page of his official European John Waite fan site.
Not just a songwriter writing solely for herself, LISA co-wrote "You Were Mine" with Mike Walsh on his band Departure's album entitled "Open Your Mind" selling over 40,000 copies in the UK and Japan combined (Escape Music.)
Lisa’s performing credits include backing vocals with Billy Joel on Saturday Night Live (“River of Dreams” and “All About Soul’) as well as Billy’s "All About Soul" video. She has sung with Pat Dinizio (The Smithereens), Marshall Crenshaw, John Eddie, Glen Burtnik (Styx), and Mitch Malloy. She has opened for acts like the Smother’s Brothers and The Charlie Daniels Band and performed as a member of all female Beatles tribute The Sheatles, Heart tribute Queens of Heart Band and 1980s party rock band Atomic Mary. She performs regularly with RB3: The Red Bank Blues Band.
An album of new songs is in the works, to be released later in 2015. The initial tracks are sounding like alt-country-blues, but the recording could go in any direction. Stay tuned…
